15th-20th century Art exibition in Beijing

National Museum in Warsaw presents exhibition “Treasures from Chopin’s Country: Polish art from 15th-20th century" at National Museum in Beijing. It is the first large-scale presentation of Polish art to be seen in China - more than 350 works of art including paintings, sculpture, and decorative and applied art will be presented to general public, for the majority of whom this will be their first contact with the art of Lithuanian-Polish Commonwealth of 16th-17th centuries. The exhibition is open 7 February – 10 May. In the picture: One of the most prominent Polish painter’s Jan Matejko painting “Stefan Batory at Pskov”, which will be presented at the exhibition.
