AMBASSADOR OF LITHUANIA PRESENTED CREDENTIAL LETTERS TO THE THE PRESIDENT OF KOREA

January 17, 2008 Ambassador Rokas Bernotas has presented the letters of credence to H.E.Mr. Roh Moo-yun, President of the Republic of Korea.
During the ceremony President Roh Moo-yun stressed that he well knows that economy of Lithuania is developing very fast. He expressed the hope, that bilateral cooperation between Lithuania and Korea will foster in the future.  Ambassador introduced Lithuania and invited Head of Korea for a visit.
During his visit Ambassador R. Bernotas met Ambassador of Poland, Director General of the Department of Europe, MFA, Executives of EUCC.
Embassy of Lithuania in Beijing is also accredited to Mongolia, Vietnam and S.Korea.
Ambassador Rokas Bernotas is the third Lithuanian ambassador to S. Korea.
Diplomatic relations between Lithuania and Korea were established on January 14, 1991.
