EU FILM FESTIVAL 2012: LITHUANIAN DOCUMENTARY "THE BUG TRAINER"
Embassy of Lithuania in Beijing is proud to present the documentary "The Bug Trainer" to be screened during the 5th EU Film Festival in China. “The Bug Trainer” is an international co–production documentary film about Ladislas Starewitch (1882 – 1965), a pioneer of puppet animation and a contemporary of cinematography, one of the most mystique and controversial creators of 20th century. He was named as a true Wizard and an Alchemist of animation, whose wizardry was born in Lithuania in the beginning of 20th c. The film will be screened: November 3rd at 3 pm at UCCA, 798 District, 4 Jiuxian Qiao Road, Chaoyang, Beijing (ticket 15 yuan); November 23rd at 7:30 pm at the French Institute in China, 18 Gongti Xi Road, Choayang (free entry).
