LITHUANIA IS AMONG THE CLEANEST COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD

Environmental experts of Yale and Columbia Universities, in collaboration with the World Economic Forum's Centre on Global Competitiveness and Performance, released the 2012 Environmental Performance Index (EPI) data ranking 132 countries around the world based on their performance across a range of policy categories in environmental health and ecosystem vitality.

Lithuania ranked 17th and was included into the group of 35 countries named "strong" in it's environmental performance.
