Lithuanian embassy establishes ties with cities in China
On July 4, H.E. Ambassador Ina Marčiulionytė visited Xuzhou city in Jiangsu province, where she met with Xuzhou mayor Zhou Tiegen and city authorities and visited mechanical engineering, pharmacy and food-processing companies. At the meeting ambassador presented the advantages of Lithuanian-Xuzhou cooperation.
"I think that intergovernmental, business, social exchange would help to maintain positive relation between Xuzhou and Lithuania” – commented Mayor Zhou Tiegen. Ambassador Ina Marčiulionytė apprised of the investment climate in Lithuania and reviewed the possibilities for bilateral cooperation within businesses, trade, science, culture and sports. She invited Xuzhou delegation to attend the international life sciences forum „Life Science Baltics 2016“.
Xuzhou, a city with more than 3.5 million population, has developed mechanical engineering industries, logistic services and focuses on advancement of life sciences.
