LITHUANIAN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION EXPO CHINA 2012
A delegation of Lithuanian higher education institutions will participate in the International Education Expo China 2012 (http://www.chinaeducationexpo.com ) to be held in Beijing and Xi’an on October 20-23rd. It will consist of 17 higher education institutions: 12 universities and 5 colleges. Students have a choice of 59 bachelor and 77 master’s degree programs taught in English in Lithuanian higher education institutions. Lithuania, located in the geographical centre of Europe, has one of the oldest universities in Central Europe and is famous for many specialised degree programmes, such as medicine, biotechnology, humanitarian studies. The following Lithuanian higher education institutions will participate in the exhibition: Aleksandras Stulginskis University, Alytus College, International Business School at Vilnius University, ISM University of Management and Economics, Kaunas University of Technology, Kaunas College, Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, Lithuanian Academy of Physical Education, Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences, Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, Mykolas Romeris University, University of Applied Social Sciences, Utena College, Vilnius College, Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, Vilnius University, Vytautas Magnus University. The staff of these universities and colleges will be happy to answer any questions about studying in Lithuania – everything from choosing the right programme to questions about culture or the weather. "Study in Lithuania" brand promotion in international study fairs is a part of the project "The development of Lithuanian higher education internationalization". The project aims to present the reform of Lithuanian higher education, to create the brand of Lithuanian higher education and to attract foreign citizens to study in Lithuania. The project is coordinated by Education Exchanges Support Foundation in partnership with universities and colleges in Lithuania. The project is financed from European Social Fund.
