In a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam Nguyen Quoc Dung on 13 October in Bangkok, Lithuania’s Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Neris Germanas noted that bilateral political and economic relations were intensifying.

The Ambassador of Lithuania to China Ina Marčiulionytė should present her letters of credence to the President of Vietnam in the short run.

Lithuania’s Foreign Vice-Minister is visiting Thailand on 12-14 October, where he is participating in the 21st ASEAN-EU Ministerial Meeting. Later, Germanas will visit Japan and take part in the events marking the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Lithuania and Japan.
