New Lithuanian Partner in Shandong Province
On May 30th Lithuanian Ambassador in China Ina Marčiulionytė had a meeting with Zhang Dailing, vice minister of Yantai city in Shandong province. Leaders of the departments of Investment promotion, Foreign Relations and the representative of Lithuania-China Chamber of Commerce participated as well.
Collaboration in biotechnology, transport, tourism, culture and education were discussed. Vice minister of Yantai city emphasized his willingness to accept and help Lithuanian companies, science research institutions, and universities that are looking for partners.
Lithuanian Ambassador invited the companies of Yantai to participate in “Life Sciences Baltics” conference which will take place 14-16 October in Lithuania: “We are hoping to see a much bigger delegation this year” – said the ambassador.
Yantai in Shandong province was chosen as a priority city for strengthening and expanding bilateral cooperation. Biotechnology, tourism, winemaking and agriculture is widely developed in the city that has almost 7 million people and the seaport.
