"UNSEEN LITHUANIA" EXHIBITION OPENED IN CMODA, BEIJING

Unseen Lithuania - Marius JOVAISA Photography Exhibition is organized by Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania and CMoDA (China Millennium Monument Museum of Digital Arts) from October 20, 2013 to November 3, 2013. Vilnius Old Town and the dunes of Neringa, purity of Lithuanian lakes and serenity of the green valleys, meanders of the rivers and a romantic perfection of the sunrise – Unseen Lithuania reveals the beauty of all Lithuania, embracing big cities and little villages, rivers and lakes, forests and fortress mounds, sea and sky. The photo exhibition Unseen Lithuania travelled all around the world, coming to China in the period of the historic significance to Lithuania – Lithuania‘s Presidency of the Council of the European Union. 40 of his best works will be shown in the exhibition. “Unseen Lithuania” - the largest and most successful album of aerophotography in Lithuania, which captures a bird's-eye view of the most beautiful landscapes, objects, phenomena and natural conditions in Lithuania and boldly expanded the traditional boundaries of aerography. The album is a selection of over 250 high-quality large photographs with descriptions, the author’s comments and stories about project details. The most fascinating images were selected from almost 20 thousand shots. The photo album has no analogues in Lithuania as it represents a bird's-eye view of Lithuania.   The album “Unseen Lithuania” was released in eleven languages: Lithuanian, English, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, Polish, French, Russian, Swedish, and German. It is the only one album about Lithuania, translated into so many foreign languages.   About Artist Marius Jovaiša (born in 1973) is the author of the photos, a photographer, a documentary filmmaker and an explorer.
